GCON2025 Student Research Forum (SRF) Guidelines

Event Dates: June 18–20, 2025

Venue: North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), Nirjuli, Arunachal Pradesh, India

Organized by: IEEE Guwahati Subsection in association with NERIST

1. Objective

The Student Research Forum (SRF) at GCON2025 aims to:

  • Provide a national platform for early career researchers (UG/PG/PhD students) to present unpublished or published research work for review

  • Facilitate academic networking and expert feedback.

  • Inspire interdisciplinary collaboration.

  • Recognize excellence in student-led technical research.

  • Provide a platform to attend popular keynotes from experts, tutorials and regular papers.

2. Eligibility

  • Open to UG, PG, and PhD students currently enrolled in recognized academic institutions.

  • The first author must be a student and the presenter.

3. Important Points for SRF Submission

  • Submit poster (template attached) of the unpublished or published research work for review

  • The publication will not be included in the conference proceedings

  • A limited number of posters will be accepted for presentation.

  • Once the poster is accepted for presentation in SRF, student registration is mandatory for presenting the poster in SRF. The registration includes access to GCON2025 sessions, participation certificate, meal, tea/coffee and SRF events.

  • Poster Submission Opens - May 24, 2025

  • Submission Deadline - June 6, 2025

  • Acceptance Notification – June 9, 2025
