2025 IEEE – 2nd GCON International Conference Guwahati Subsection
Call for Tutorials
The organizing committee of IEEE GCON 2025 cordially invites innovative and insightful tutorial proposals on emerging topics in AI, Renewable Energy, Signal Processing, Circuit Systems, Control Systems, Power Systems, Cryptography, and Security. We welcome proposals that go beyond these areas and explore other cutting-edge subjects. The tutorials will be held on June 18th, 2025. We encourage all prospective contributors to read the guidelines below carefully before submitting their proposals to ensure they meet the criteria and standards set for this prestigious conference.
Required Proposal Information
Each submission must include the following information:
Title
Presenters: Names, affiliation, contact information (email and mailing address), and short bio for each presenter.
Description: A description of the tutorial topic, providing a sense of both the scope and depth of the tutorial, along with a tutorial outline.
Expected audience: Include the background of the audience and expected number of attendees.
Recent publications: List recent publications from the speakers in the past 3-5 years.
Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be peer-reviewed using the following criteria:
Timeliness of the proposal: Importance of the topic in 2025 and relevance to IEEE-GCON.
Quality of the proposal: State-of-the art coverage of the topic, coherence, and experience of the speakers.
Spectrum of the proposal: Topic is of broad interest to academia and/or industry, researchers and/or engineers.
Accessibility of presentation material: Presentation can be understood by the broad IEEE GCON audience including graduate students, practicing engineers, researchers and professors.
Important Dates
Tutorial Proposals Due: 31st March, 2025
Notification of Tutorial Acceptance: 5th April, 2025
Submission
Proposals for tutorials must be submitted through email to rajenpudur@nitap.ac.in with a copy to pesnraju88@iitg.ac.in and nm@nerist.ac.in before the deadline.
